Our Mission and Vision

Our Mission

Provide a family friendly and inclusive environment that allows all involved with the club the opportunity to be the best they can be.

Vision

Through basketball foster and encourage the development of our youth to help them succeed both on and off the basketball court, providing them with some of the necessary tools to become valued members of their community as they grow into adulthood.

Our Values

RESPECT

We will respect our teammates, coaches, club volunteers, referees, opposing teams and through this, demonstrate a level of respect for self and the game.

UNITY

Be selfless. We will promote a team first mentality where team goals and outcomes outweigh those of any individual. We are family both on and off the court.

INTEGRITY

We will be positive contributing members of our club and the broader community.

COMMITMENT

We will give 100% every time we step on the court! In both training and games, we know our job and we strive to be our best every time we play.

ENJOYMENT

We will find the positive and fun in everything we do, from cleaning a court through to winning a final.

About Our Club

Our club is dedicated to developing not only great players but great people. We strive to provide an inclusive and supportive basketball program proudly facilitated by our team of dedicated volunteers.

Heat Basketball Club was formed in 2008 and has become a successful and valued part of the Gold Coast City Regional Basketball Association.

Heat Basketball operates out of Hillcrest Christian College in Reedy Creek. We are fortunately supported by the school via the use of the college facilities and enjoy a close relationship with hillcrest. Club membership is open to any child wishing to join a team to play in the Gold Coast Basketball junior competition. We field teams from under 10 through to under 18 in boys’ and girls’ competitions. Heat Basketball Club is proudly 100% volunteer run and is 100% independently financed and governed by the club committee.
